This weekend, a local soccer team, team HEAT, is working to earn team sweatshirt.  Support your local kids. They will be Washing cars at the corner of 101 and Northcrest, the Pizza Hut parking lot.

If you would like to support your local kids, but, don't have time to wait for a car wash, there is an alternative. The team would really appreciate you dropping by to  donate a small amount toward their sweatshirt purchase.

Team HEAT know that we're in a drought, but, they will be working hard to keep cars clean but, not waste the water.

Please drop by and help.

The annual community Artisan Faire/Christmas Bazaar sponsored by Soroptimist International of Crescent City is Sunday, November 23 from 10 AM to 3 PM at the Veteran’s Memorial Hall, 810 H Street. 

Over twenty-five vendors will be in attendance. They will offer products including jewelry, crocheted, knitted and felted items, soap and body scrubs, pottery, candles, photography, artistic glass and copper art pieces, hand sewn items, canned tuna, holiday light blocks and wooden trains. 

Help make a difference for the environment by collecting data for the Coastal Observation and Seabird Survey Team (COASST). COASST is a citizen science project dedicated to involving volunteers in the collection of high quality data on the status of coastal beaches, and trends of seabirds. Our goal is to assist government agencies and other organizations in making informed management and conservation decisions, and promote proactive citizen involvement and action.
