Taa'-at-dvn Magnet School

Taa-'at-dvn is the Tolowa name for Crescent City and honors the Tolowa town that stood where Crescent City stands today. The Magnet School was created to focuson Native American Students who were leaving the public schools and dropping out, thereby ending their formal education.
The goal of Taa-'at-dvn Indian Magnet School is to work with Native American students who need an alternative to the conventional school system.
Taa-'at-dvn Indian Magnet School is an Independent Study Program where the student is home schooled and meets with the teacher at least one hour a week.
The program focuses on ensuring that each student is working at their ability level, and has a successful learning experience.
